Complex 13

SLC 13 was the site of a number of Atlas Agena launches.

Wikimapia image of Complex 13. The mobile service structure was demolished in August 2005. The black area is the shadow of the tower. Below are aerials I took in July of 2005 (with tower) and December of 2005 (without tower). Complex 13 was constructed in the late 1950s as an Atlas pad. Its first launch took place in 1958 and following the last Atlas launch in 1962 it was rebuilt for the Atlas-Agena, which was launched from SLC 13 until its last launch in 1978.
